Other Guidelines and Tips for Managing a Fotolog Group
- The best Fotolog Groups are ones where the Group Manager(s) are passionately dedicated to taking care of the Group and keeping the content in that Group on-topic. And, the best Fotolog Groups can become very popular very quickly and generate an enormous amount of attention and activity. So, please know that if your Group grows the way we hope it will, tending it can become quite a challenge. That’s why we suggest that groups be managed by more than just one Fotolog member. Look for others who’d be willing to take care of the Fotolog Group together with you. Not only will this make sure that your Group is well taken care of, but that's more people to spread the word.
- It’s important to make sure that all the photos uploaded to your Fotolog Group match the theme for that Group. Fotolog members usually give up on Groups that are consistently filled with off-topic photos. We count on you to keep your Group well maintained and interesting.
- Not only is it a good idea to remove any material that doesn’t meet the Group theme, it is your responsibility to remove content that is in any way offensive and violates the Fotolog rules.
- While the Fotolog Administrators will always be there when needed, please remember to utilize the "block" feature to help keep Groups free of guestbook spam or to take care of any problems you might be having with abusive behavior.
- We strongly encourage you to join the Group Manager’s board: http://p068.ezboard.com/bfotologgroupmanagers34284 That’s THE place to meet other Group Managers and members of the Fotolog admin team.
